November 14th Event

Members of the public are welcome to attend the screening of a Christadelphian video, “Rescue In The Holocaust.”  In the year before the outbreak of World War II, an effort that became known as the Kindertransport was organized in Great Britain (GB) to rescue Jewish children from lands controlled by Nazi Germany.  10,000 Jewish children were rescued through this effort. About 250 of those children were taken in by Christadelphian families in GB and cared for during the War years that followed.  This video focuses on the Christadelphian role and is presented by an historian, Jason Hensley, who investigated it and wrote a book about it, "Part of the Family".  Jason is planning to join the session via an online link at the end to take questions.

The video is an hour in length; and the discussion session that follows will last about 30 minutes.

The session begins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14th,

at the Mountain Grove Christadelphian Chapel,

1525 Mountain Grove Ave, Burlington.
